Key Concepts

Over the course of the module, I have gained a wealth of knowledge in the field of Artificial Intelligence. I was able to apply theoretical concepts in practical scenarios, which significantly enhanced my understanding.

This module has been a transformative journey, equipping me with the skills and insights to navigate the ever-evolving landscape of AI. I am excited to apply these learnings in real-teaching practices.

As a result of this semester, trying to carry on, it will definitely inject my knowledge of AI into my teaching strategy. I thinks that these pioneer AI assessment could give life with the student the fundamentals of learning.

Hoping to make the teaching process more interesting and relevant. I am confident that this is an approach that will not only be enjoyed by my students but also give them a better understanding of English language.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools like Copilot, Nearpod, and Gemini have changed the educational landscape by providing tailor-made learning environments and study aids. Though students encounter many difficulties while using these tools. First of all, there is the topic of data privacy. As these instruments learn from user interactions questions appear about the storage and use of this information. Secondly, between these tools is the need for a stable internet connection that can be inaccessible for some students, creating digital divide. Secondly, even though the AI can furnish the information, it does not have the human side and the empathy which a typical classroom teacher would possess. This might cause a feeling of loneliness among students. In the fourth place, over-dependence on these tools is risky, whereby such thinking and problem-solving skills can be stunted. In addition, these tools are not always flawless, and may occasionally provide incorrect or misleading data, leading to the misunderstanding of the situation. In summary, although AI in education may offer unique benefits, those challenges must be taken into account to make the application more efficient and inclusive.

The skills learned while using AI tools such as Copilot, Gamma app, Nearpod, Chat GPT, and Gemini are transferable and include a specific chapter on creative writing in English. For example, students can be provided with a topic and include them in the task to write an essay.

  • Copilot can be used to improve the quality of their post by providing feedbacks and suggestions here.
  • Gamma app would be a module that goes along with the teaching of difficult topics, which is aided greatly by animations and simulations.
  • Nearpod is a perfect tool to create lessons that are more engageable by mean of including quizzes and polls, which supports the active learning.
  •  ChatGPT allows imitating back-and-forth conversations, thus helping students familiarize themselves with English language dialogue.
  • Gemini, a device helpful in changing the text to speech and vice versa, can be used by learners to better their listening and speaking skills.
Rather, these AI tools can combine all together in a single lesson, and hence provide a single interactive and personalized coursework experience. Nonetheless the fact that these tools are the accessories for a teacher are teachers not the substitution for it. The teacher still has the task of furnishing context, leading students to see beyond the immediate, and addressing student needs however they arise.

AI becomes intelligent enough to achieve a wide range of operational jobs such as student’s request, registration, teacher’s issues, exams, course management and many more. Smart systems and the artificial intelligence integration had a tremendous positive impact on the execution of many educational activities. Furthermore they cut down the operating expenses, provided the case of visibility and ensured the level of response of the tutors.
